Return Policy

If you have any questions about specific items and whether these items will suit your purpose, please contact us prior to ordering. We will do our best to help you decide if they will/will not suit you!

It is much easier and cheaper for both of us for you to not buy the product than to have it be returned!

Defective items

Defective items will be exchanged, or refunded if a replacement is unavailable. All defects and damages must be reported to us within 10 days of receipt of goods.

Return shipping of defective or damaged items will be covered by Moth and Beetle.

Non-defective items

For non-defective items, all returns must be in new, resaleable condition. A restocking fee of 15% will be applied to all non-defective items.

Items CANNOT be exchanged or returned without pre-authorization. When you contact us, you will be provided with an authorization number and shipping details. Return shipping of non-defective items will be the responsibility of the buyer.

After we have received the goods, it will take approximately 5 business days to process the exchange or return. The original purchase price less restocking fee will be refunded once returned items have been inspected; original shipping will not be refunded.

The following items are final sale:

  • All pins, whether insect, minuten, preparation, etc. (too hard to assess if pins are missing or damaged)
  • Spreading boards, whether wood or foam (since they are made of such soft woods and delicate foam)
  • All discounted items
  • Special order items

We reserve the right to refuse any returns.
